Home Concepts Services and Exclusions

OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE and INTEGRATION

The system designed for you has been carefully engineered to match the architecture and interior design of your home while still providing the best possible performance.  We at Home Concepts will work with your architect, interior designer, builder, and finisher to assure that the system design and installation meets the aesthetic requirements of your new home.

SIMPLICITY OF OPERATION

After all electronic equipment is installed we realize it must be easy to use for all members of your family.  With this in mind the recommended products within the design proposal are key components to create a smooth transition from our hands to yours. 

 INSTALLATION SERVICES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and oversee all aspects of the installation
  • Provide design assistance (if needed) for construction components related to A/V installation
  • Advise on work performed by other trades in regards to A/V design and specifications
  • Install, test and service all products listed in the design proposal
  • Provide in-home training of all aspects of the system operation and answer all related questions

 LABOUR WILL INCLUDE

  • Pre-wiring of all low voltage wiring required for system operation
  • Periodic check-ins of pre-wire during construction to insure everything is as it should be
  • Installation of all equipment supplied by Home Concepts related to this design proposal
  • Programming of all connected equipment
  • Testing and calibration of all audio and video components supplied by Home Concepts

 MATERIAL WILL INCLUDE

  • Materials, cables, connections needed to provide a finished, operational system

 SERVICE and WARRANTIES

Manufacturer warranties for all new components will be in effect from date of completion.  Service for system failures due to any cause other than abuse, damage, or acts of God will be repaired at no charge for 90 days from date of completion (Home Concepts additional support programs are available, please ask about additional support programs).

INCLUDED:

  • 2 hour phone response time
  • 48 hour onsite response time
  • Equipment repair cost
  • Equipment replacement paid by client at 25% discount if not covered by manufacturer
  • Product removal and return
  • Programming changes (to current system products)
  • Firmware and software upgrades
  • 15% upgrade discount (off regular retail and labour rates)

EXCLUSIONS:

  • Vandalism/theft
  • Mis-use
  • Neglect
  • Acts of God
  • Client/third party modifications
