Undeveloped Basement Questions!
I currently have an undeveloped basement in my house and would love to have a home theatre to watch movies and sporting events! Do I need to get a construction company to come in to finish the basement before your company will install the wiring and products or will you do all the work from scratch? Can you please give me some ideas of what else you could do with my basement that would impress my friends?
Thanks!

At Home Concepts we have a general contractors license which allows us to handle all aspects of the construction process of your basement, over-seeing all steps to make sure everything is done properly to create the perfect Media/Theatre Room. Taking into consideration room acoustics, sound transfer throughout your home, design and layout to name a few key aspects. The most important thing is to have a CEDIA certified company that you can trust be involved from day one to make sure every step is done properly and up to our standards! Some of the new impressive features to consider when building a dedicated theatre room or media room are, IP based media servers so store all your digital content and have it accessible at the touch of a button with a visual media library on your big screen, lighting control is another, tie your lighting into a touchscreen universal remote and have the lights dim when you press watch DVD. One key factor to consider is having your system professionally calibrated, you could spend 10′s of thousands of dollars on great gear but if it’s not calibrated to suit the room, you might as well buy a home theatre in a box. At home concepts we use high end Sencore audio calibration equipment to tune each seat within the room so that your equipment is set up to sound exactly how the movie director intended! If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll schedule a meeting to help you along the process! Thanks for the question!
